Take a Stand

It’s possible for work to leave space to be human, and integrate well into life. It gives Morgan an enormous amount of joy to be part of a place that is committed to bettering itself and the world. This is a unique place that deserves loyalty and is made up of incredible people.

In processing why marching this week was powerful, Adrianne learned how challenging it can be, and how the support of a close friend like Morgan matters. Some people in Adrianne’s family had a bit of a disappointing reaction.

When people who we hope will be supportive don’t respond the way we expect it can be really disappointing. Remember that it’s not even about sides, and remember that if you’re exhausted in this time and you haven’t been subject to racism your entire life, think about how exhausting this experience must be for the black community.
