    • This day can be used the month prior to the Black Out period [October] or the month following [January and will be allowed to be carried over into the new year in this case]
    • This is a use it or lose it day and won’t carry over to the following year
  • Cultural Identity Celebration Day (an entrepreneur has one celebration day per year and examples include but are not limited to Lunar New Year, Eid, Pride Parade, Good Friday, Cinco de Mayo, Yom Kippur)

    • This is a use it or lose it day and won’t carry over to the following year
  • Summer Fridays

If any holiday falls on a Saturday, normally the preceding Friday will be recognized as the holiday.  If any holiday falls on a Sunday, normally the following Monday will be recognized as the holiday.  If a holiday falls during an entrepreneur’s vacation, the holiday will not count as a vacation day.

In order to receive holiday pay, an Entrepreneur must have:  (i) completed the orientation period; (ii) worked the last scheduled workday before and after the holiday, unless on approved vacation; and (iii) been scheduled to work on the holiday in question.

*Please note: Entrepreneur birthday and Cultural Identity Celebration Days do not “rollover”. They reset every January 1st.

Part-timers and interns do not receive holiday pay.
