Remote Hours | We believe in flexibility and we also believe in going hard until the job is done. We typically go from 8:30am-5:30pm (ish) PST most days. Some days we start earlier and stay later, but for the most part, we are pretty flexible. In return we ask that you’re transparent about your hours with your direct supervisor and ensure your performance/quality of work is something you and CTC can proudly stand behind. Performance will be measured monthly during Forward Progress, focusing on the roles KPIs and the goals set by you and your supervisor. This will allow for reflections on how efficiently you’re managing your time and work load. 

Remote Work From Home Expectations | Even though there isn’t an office, we’re still asking you uphold all policies outlined here in our Handbook. All company policies around conduct, confidentiality, sick leave, etc., continue to apply, regardless of location, wherever you are. Here are some general expectations we have of your work from anywhere remote office:

  • Choose a quiet and distraction-free working space.
  • Have an internet connection that’s adequate for your job.
  • Dedicate your full attention to your job duties during working hours and if something comes up,  let your supervisor know what’s going on. 
  • Make sure you’re showing up  to mandatory company meetings and work attendance schedules
  • Ensure your schedule overlaps with enough with team members so that work is completed effectively

Remote Options | Typically this is where we tell you all about how we like to help live into work-home balance and the remote day option at CTC. With the recent global situation with COVID, we are currently all working remotely full-time and with that being said, your first day will begin, well, at your house! There will be CTC all company meetings and group meetings happening via Zoom. While your journey at CTC might begin from the comfort of your home, we are equally as excited to have you on the team! 

Internet Reimbursement | Let’s face it, we wouldn’t be able to do all the things needed, especially in our current working from home life, unless we had the speed and capabilities of your high-speed internet to make that happen. As a result, we want to assist with this cost and to provide a monthly reimbursement. To get the reimbursement, you will be required to submit proof of your monthly internet bill/charge alongside monthly expense reports via Expensify. As a CTC team member, you qualify for a monthly reimbursement of up to $50. 

Remote Office Stipend | It’s been a minute since CTC has gone remote and we’ve been working on what it means to offer an at-home office stipend for Rookies hired during COVID. For you specifically, you can submit for a one-time reimbursement UP TO $300 on your personal expense report for any of the following outlined below. Use your judgment when making these purchases – typically if you have a question whether it’ll get reimbursed/qualify, it’s probs a no-go. It’s important to note that the stipend must be used within 30 days of employment. If you part ways with CTC before 30 days, this stipend reimbursement is forfeited.
