Applying for a New CTC Job

A new position just opened up at CTC and it makes your heart sing, that’s great! Here are the next steps and some insights to the process:

1. New Opening formally announced in Slack by the Differentiation Department
2. Any interested internal applicants [that’s YOU] will speak with your manager about whether that role might be a fit
3. If you get the go-ahead from your manager, direct message [DM] the Differentiation Rep to express interest in that role

What To Expect

1. The Differentiation Rep will schedule time for an in person interview/conversation about the new role with the hiring manager and someone from the Differentiation Dept
2. Timelines on official offers will vary
3. Any candidates who are not selected can count on feedback around areas of opportunity to strengthen their knowledge skills and abilities for future openings
4. If you’re not selected as the candidate best fit for the opening, you will be notified prior to any formal announcements
5. If you are selected as the candidate best fit for the position, a new offer letter will be sent out for signature with a few follow up logistical needs
6. Formal announcement of new placement will be made in Slack in the “ctc_newpositions” thread

Exceptions

1. If a current employee’s role is being dissolved, Executive Management has the right to “appoint” that employee into a role if and when applicable.
2. If a higher level role requires previous experience that only a singular candidate has to offer, Executive Management has the right to “appoint” that employee into a role if and when applicable.
