This Dreamer has been at CTC since January as a Retention Production Specialist, and is one half of Retention Team R3al Mail.

You can usually find her adventuring around the Front Range of Colorado with her friends and four legged bestie, Ollie.

When she’s not out and about she is at home reading πŸ“š, watching Parks and Rec 🐴, or catching St. Louis sports ⚾.

Welcome up to the mic for her first Dream Day declaration…

MORGAN PURDY!

“I dream to become a financially confident person on their way to being debt free.”

Dream Achievement Forecast: March 2022

Why?

It is important to me to achieve this dream because finances are something I’ve known I needed to better understand for a long time. I also feel that it is the basis for well-being in other parts of my life.

How?

First milestone: setting a budget and sticking to it for a month.

Second milestone: per the budget I develop, contributing a certain amount to debt/savings for the next X months on the path to paying off student loans by age X. (on top of continuing to follow budget).

Third milestone: Meeting with a financial advisor to start planning for retirement and/or buying real estate. (still following budget and savings/debt contributions).

The fourth milestone will be having paid off X percent of debt with consistent practice and being able to confidently speak about my finances — ex. knowing what my exact budget is each month, how much goes to what category, when I can expect to have paid off all my debt, etc. (things I don’t currently know.)
