Dia de Los Muertos

Dia de Los Muertos – “Day of the Dead” – is being celebrated in full swing today! 🎉

The holiday originated in Mexico 🇲🇽 but has found its way to many countries over the years where it has become a staple of Latinx tradition.

Dia de Los Muertos is a day to honor deceased family (or friends) by cleaning and decorating their graves with flowers, photos, and even a plate of their favorite food! 😍

Dia de Los Muertos was born when Aztec tradition became influenced by Spanish conquistadors whose Catholic religion practied “All Saints Day” and “All Souls Day” – days to honor children & adults who have passed away.
